Privacy Policy

Pagely · Last updated June 2026

Pagely (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a personal reading tracker. We designed it to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal data. The app has no account, no sign-up, and no analytics or advertising. Your reading library — the books, pages, notes, ratings, and progress you enter — is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or uploaded to any server we control.

Book title search

When you add a book and type its title, the app sends only that title text to the public Open Library service to retrieve matching book suggestions (such as author and page count). This request is made in real time to return results and is not used to identify you. Open Library's handling of requests is governed by their own policies. You can also enter book details manually, and the app works fully offline otherwise.

Data storage and deletion

Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes all of its data. You can also delete individual books at any time from within the app.

Children's privacy

Pagely does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new revision date.
